One of the most beautiful and renowned boat excursions in southern Sardinia, loved for its wild scenery, the colours of its seabeds, the chance to encounter dolphins and to easily spot the rare Eleonora's falcon.
We set sail from Calasetta towards the island of San Pietro, where we first skirt the lovely seafront of Carloforte, then the imposing volcanic formations of Le Colonne and Punta Nera, all the way to La Bobba beach with its crystal-clear sea.
Cruising back up along the coastline we reach the majestic cliff of La Mezzaluna — a 20-metre volcanic wall riddled with sea caves — and the bay of Lucchese, a geosite unique in Sardinia, where we take our first swim at La Caletta.
We then arrive at the bay of Le Spine, a magical spot wrapped in silence with a breathtaking seabed below. We drop anchor here for a long stop: before the traditional lunch served on board — with the famous cassulli pasta in Carloforte-style pesto and Sulcis wine — we enjoy a long session of swimming and snorkelling with mask and snorkel.
In the afternoon we point the bow towards the lighthouse of Capo Sandalo, the westernmost point of Italy, then turn towards the spectacular Cala Fico, a LIPU reserve and realm of falcons and cormorants.
One last swim out in the crystal-clear waters off La Bobba refreshes us before we sip the aperitif that the captain has prepared on deck for us, with Vermentino wine and typical local sweets.

Why our boat tours are unforgettable
Choose the luxury of a slow traditional boat tour in Sardinia, aboard traditional wooden boats with lateen sails, hosting just 8 guests for an intimate and exclusive experience.
At our first stops, we anchor offshore near stunning beaches and slip on our masks to snorkel in crystal-clear waters, surrounded by schools of friendly fish.
The journey continues as we sail beneath dramatic rocky cliffs, stopping by hidden sea caves for another unforgettable snorkeling experience.
By late morning, while peacefully anchored in a quiet bay, you’ll enjoy a memorable lunch on board featuring local appetizers, traditional cassulli pasta with basil pesto, tomatoes and tuna, followed by fresh fruit and local Sulcis wine.

Bellissima esperienza. Raccomandato!!
